Coto Manggala

        Coto Manggala is a typical food from Pangkalan Bun. This soup was calling Coto Manggala because people in Pangkalan Bun mention cassava with manggala. This soup made of cassava or yam. How to eat this soup is different, this soup is not eating with rice, but with cassava. And the meat used in this soup is also different, they used chicken's feet. That's the distinguishes between Coto Manggala with other soup. This soup has a different taste and only on certain occasions. Because so unique, this food also got MURI record in 2009 of 8,000 bowls of Coto Manggala lined along 2 KM. It makes Coto Manggala very popular. Now, we can find this food in almost every town in Central Kalimantan. In brief, Coto Manggala is a unique food from Pangkalan Bun.
